Designer: Rachel Bishop Senior Designer, Rachel Bishop, was first in the field with Golden Destiny, a design theme first used in her iconic 2003 Destiny vase. Rachel believes devoutly that we are all like dandelion seeds blowing in the wind. We can have no idea of when or where we shall land. That is a matter for destiny. In these troubled times, it is a philosophy with much to commend it. Golden Destiny is full of promise of better things to come. Using a colour palette based on blue and golden yellow, Rachel?s dandelion seed heads break away from the dandelion clock, eventually coming to earth where some will take root. In reflective mode, Rachel admits that ?the ?destiny? design theme has always been a personal favourite. It obviously pleased me when Collectors? Club members voted Destiny to be the best Moorcroft vase to have been designed since 1986. With Golden Destiny, I have tried to move the design forward using a much smaller shape than the original. Fate is not always harsh: it can be kind as well. With my new ?destiny? design I have tried to highlight this fact with the use of a soft, golden yellow?.
